I have been spending more time with my knitting lately, but that does not mean I have neglected my hooking obsession. Most of my knitting projects include some form or another of crochet. Prior to our last move, Zero phoned to request a name doily. This was the first time he's ever asked me to make anything specific for him... well for his wife.
I had to put the project on hold until after the move and today is the day... I had planned to scrub the floors with my brand new scrub brush that Big Daddy ordered for the grout however, it is dark and gloomy and threatening to rain... who scrubs floors when it rains? Well not a woman who has one large husky and a Jack Russell that loves to play in the mud... fer sure...
While searching for the appropriate materials (recently unpacked) I found a name doily that I had crocheted and forgot about... now I must get it finished and framed...
I have no idea how many name doilies that I have crocheted over the years... unfortunately now I have to use magnification to see the work and take many breaks to rest my eyes. Thankfully my darling Big Daddy gave me an awesome lamp.
